LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIENCE
- Concentrate on what the speaker is saying, both to their words and inflection
- Do not be thinking of your response while your are listening, you will lose concentration if you do
- Interact non-verbally with small gestures like nodding your head
- Look at the person’s left eye to give the impression you are listening
- Do not attempt to finish the other person’s sentences
- Respond by summarizing what you believe you heard and ask if that is correct
